Good morning! Those who’ve hit the roads already say that it’s snowing and sticking in Bailey, but just wet in Conifer so far. That will change as the day continues so give yourself extra time to get where you’re going. Simone took this video at 7am of Hwy 285 at Windy Point (thanks Lady!). Safe travels! #MMTwx #cowx #US285 | My Mountain Town

Clear skies and a balmy 17 degrees at Windy Point and Hwy 285. Plows are heading northbound and travelers report snowpacked roads that are icy in spots, but pretty decent lane recognition. Video courtesy of Simone Stewart - thank you Lady! If you have a cool video you’d like shared, please message it to us! | My Mountain Town

Edit to update: Hwy 285 SB has reopened. —— It’s white, it’s slick, and it’s low visibility where the snow is coming down hard. Hwy 285 SB is closed in Turkey Creek Canyon due to a sideways semi. Drive safe and have a Happy Friday! Video of Hwy 285 at Windy Point, courtesy of Simone Stewart. | My Mountain Town

The first video is what Hwy 285 at Windy Point looked like an hour ago, the second video (in the comments) is the current view at 7:45am. Both courtesy of Simone who says she’s gotten about 5” so far and it’s still coming down hard. Platte Canyon School District has closed for the day, and both Park County School District RE-2 and Clear Creek Schools are on a 2 hour delay. Drive safe if you have to be go out and about! | My Mountain Town
