🧀 Crispy on the outside. Creamy, cheesy, Cajun magic on the inside. These Fried Grit Cakes are what happens when Southern comfort meets golden perfection. 🥵✨ For the Grits • 1 cup (180 g) old-fashioned grits (not quick or instant) • 3 cups (720 ml) chicken broth • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream • 8 oz (225 g) shredded cheese (sharp cheddar, gouda, and asiago blend recommended) • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 2–3 green onions, thinly sliced • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (like Tony Chachere’s or Slap Ya Mama)
