🔥 Today in History We commemorate the birthday of Kwame Ture, born June 29, 1941 in Triniad. He moved to the U.S. at age 11. The FBI targeted him for counterintelligence activity through its COINTELPRO program, so Comrade Ture moved to Africa in 1968 - first to Ghana and then to Guinea. He died at age 57.
