CAMERON PARK ZOO — A new bear cub has joined the Cameron Park Zoo family! Kenai arrived in Waco earlier this month from The Alaska Zoo in Anchorage. He is a male North American black bear that was found scavenging for food in the small fishing village of Chistochina, Alaska. He was too small, emaciated, and young to be on his own, so Alaska Department of Fish and Game transferred him to The Alaska Zoo for care and rehabilitation.
