Salem Adds Historic Road Paving Data to Online Map

As part of the 250th Anniversary of the town of Salem, Old Salem Museums & Gardens recreated the walk made by ten Moravian brethren from Bethabara to Salem on February 19, 1766, who became the first residents of Salem. At the Builders’ House, remarks from Old Salem representatives, leaders in the Moravian community and Mayor Allen Joines commented about this important day in the history of Salem and Winston-Salem. The program concluded with the lighting of a public art display. Video by Zachary
