The best glute exercise isn’t the one that burns the most. It’s the one that lets you apply the most mechanical tension to the glutes over time. That’s why stability matters. A stable exercise allows you to train harder, get closer to failure and progressively overload safely. It’s also why I don’t rate cable pull-throughs very highly. Too much energy goes into balancing the movement instead of loading the target muscle. If your goal is glute growth, choose exercises that let the glutes do the w
