Apr 20, 2022 · Huio: even Lopen. And I think that's why I was so surprised when/how Huio achieved the Third Ideal at the tail end of Dawnshard. The fact that Lopen could both be and cause enough pain to constitute the object of Huio's Third Ideal just didn't seem to quite line up with the nature of the other Oaths.

Oct 4, 2022 · Huio talks to Lopen later about that oath. It’s Huio telling Lopen what many people don’t want to acknowledge: he’s an ass a lot of the time and disguises it as humor. It’s not intentional, but that doesn’t forgive it. I find him amusing, but he’s not someone I’d want as a friend probably.

New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. Their dialogue on the rowboat after is pretty good. Lopen’s like “you were staring right at me as you said it, cuz.”.
