Aug 2, 2022 · Keep in mind that Westbrook at his peak was actually league-average or a shade better, whereas Baron Davis never even hit 99 TS+. There's a bit of a difference between them there, and of course he was never Westie on the offensive glass either, nor in terms of assist production, nor Box Creation, etc. Top.

Nov 14, 2001 · Kind of laughable, but I guess we could play along if there wasn't direct proof contradicting his claim. I just posted a video of an old John Stockton obliterating him on the court in 2001. This Stockton is undoubtedly a well past his prime version of a much better and more complete player from the 1980's and 1990's.

Arenas had a + 5.50 TS% and + 8.6 PP100 advantage over Davis, That's a pretty big scoring gap and you need a big gap to overcome by Davis' playmaking and as someone who thinks PG defense/rebounding is overrated, I give Gilbert the edge. Looking at offensive impact Baron still dwarfs those guys.
