Legendary classic rock band’s singer has cancer, upcoming shows canceled
Ronnie Platt revealed to the world he is battling thyroid cancer. As a result of his treatment, Kansas has elected to cancel their two upcoming shows New Orleans and Lake Charles, La., citing “band illness and doctor advisement.” Platt will undergo surgery to remove his thyroid.
