Defensively, Houston allowed 88 in the second half and overtime after allowing just 45 points in the first half.

Houston blew a 25-point lead in the second half en route to a 133-128 overtime loss to the New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie King Center. The Rockets (16-8) had not lost consecutive games since starting the season 0-2.
