Minneapolis defense attorney Sarah Gad denied smuggling drugs into Hennepin County Jail after authorities found drug residue in her garbage and home during a search warrant execution and trash pull.

Sarah Rafat Gad is identified in a search warrant affidavit filed by the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office on Monday, with the document alleging she abused the power of her position as a defense attorney by giving cocaine and fentanyl-laced documents to two of her clients.
