A fast-moving brush fire fueled by fierce winds has forced the evacuation of over 100 homes on the Hawaii island of Maui, about 60 miles from the scene of a devastating fire two years ago that killed more than 100 people in the historic town of Lahaina.

A brush fire in Maui, Hawaii, was burning at 330 acres Monday after it rapidly grew to 500 acres Sunday, authorities said.
