GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - On Saturday, Jan. 18th, Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) completed capture and release work for the second gray wolf reintroduction season. Fifteen wolves, seven males and eight females, were relocated from the central interior of British Columbia to Colorado.
CPW has released 15 new wolves in Colorado
Fifteen wolves from British Columbia were released from Jan. 12 to Jan. 16. CPW also rereleased five members of the Copper Creek pack that they captured last year.
