Royal Caribbean quietly added power strips, multi-plug outlets and surge protectors to its “banned items” list. The cruise line decided to prohibit the use of the travel necessities in its ship state rooms on older vessels that aren’t equipped to handle multiple outlets to charge more than a few devices at a time.
