Novak Djokovic got the mea culpas he wanted from the Australian Open’s local broadcaster and its employee who insulted him on the air.

Djokovic said he wanted an apology from Channel 9 and Tony Jones, who called the 24-time Grand Slam champion overrated and a has-been during an on-air appearance at Melbourne Park.

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz go head-to-head in a heavyweight quarter-final clash at the Australian Open. It will be the first meeting between the two players since the final of the Paris Olympics last summer, when Djokovic took victory to claim the gold medal he had so desperately craved.
