Israel said its forces would remain in southern Lebanon past the 60-day withdrawal deadline set by a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah.

Earlier that month, Israel intensified air campaigns against Hezbollah in Lebanon, in response to escalating rocket attacks by the Iran-backed armed group which had killed civilians, and displaced tens of thousands more from homes in northern Israel.

Despite Hamas violation of the ceasefire terms by planning to release four female IDF soldiers instead of civilians on Saturday, Israel at this time does not plan to cancel the ceasefire deal,

Video obtained by CNN shows the IDF removing people into custody in the occupied West Bank. According to the town’s residents, Israeli forces arrested more than 60 people including children.
