A gas main will be shut off in Waupaca, impacting hundreds of homes in the affected area for an undetermined amount of time, officials said late Thursday night.

Atlanta braced cold temperatures this week, and some of the city's efforts to keep unhoused residents out of the freezing cold have exceeded expected capacity.

Monday through Friday, starting at one in the afternoon, the space is open to all who just need to get out of the cold.
