Road safety operations continue across Leon County as melting snow makes for a slushy and icy drive. Officials say the remnants may linger through the weekend.

With temperatures plunging below freezing multiple nights, plumbers across the Big Bend and South Georgia are busy fixing burst pipes and other winter-related plumbing issues.

Video shows a large crowd throwing snowballs and hanging off of moving cars. After police arrived, TPD says "ice projectiles" were thrown at officers. One man was arrested.
