A third Flash Flood Emergency has been issued for the Texas Hill Country area as storms continue to wreak havoc on the region. Residents and tourists along the Guadalupe River in Comal County are being asked to evacuate immediately by the National Weather Service-San Antonio/Austin office.

The flooding brought the Guadalupe to its second-highest point in history, according to the National Weather Service, which urged people in the affected area to move to higher ground.

Several people have died in Kerr County due to the immense flooding that occurred on Friday morning, according to the sheriff’s office. The department confirmed several fatalities did occur but stated they will not release any further information until the next of kin has been notified.
