A Linden woman was the first Michigan Lottery player to become a millionaire in the updated Mega Millions game.

A Michigan woman, who said she had an “itch” to play the Mega Millions game, won a huge prize, lottery officials said.

Pamela Dietrich from Linden, Michigan, won $3 million in the Mega Millions lottery after deciding to play on a hunch on April 11. Her initial $1 million winnings were increased by a multiplier feature.
