The Marvel superhero pic tumbled 66 percent in its sophomore outing domestically, compared to a 53 percent drop for DC's 'Superman.'

Universal’s “Jurassic World Rebirth” rounded out the top five with $8.4 million in its fifth weekend of release. The dinosaur epic, which rebooted the long-running property with Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali, has grossed $317 million in North America and $766 million globally.

For completeness, that film’s sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, that released in 2007 had total domestic sales of $131.9 million, which is approximately $204 million in 2025. Not unexpectedly at the bottom of the heap is Fantastic Four 2015, which had the infamous domestic box office flop of $56.1 million, or $76.1 million in 2025.
