Jeff Skinner met with the San Jose media for the first time since joining the San Jose Sharks as a free agent last Friday. Skinner, who had a down season by his standard with the Edmonton Oilers in 2024-25,

San Jose Sharks forward Jeff Skinner had an emphatic statement to make after signing a one-year contract in NHL Free Agency.

Skinner originally arrived in Edmonton after the Buffalo Sabres bought out the three years remaining on the eight-year, $72-million contract he signed ahead of the 2019-20 season. At the time of his deal with the Sabres, Skinner was coming off of the career-best 40-goal campaign he recorded during his first season in Buffalo.
