A multi-vehicle crash closed the eastbound lanes of I-70 just west of Georgetown on Tuesday afternoon. The closure is between exit 226 Silver Plume and exit 228 County Road 381. Eastbound traffic was at a standstill according to the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office.

Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed outside of Georgetown for a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon, according to the Clear Creek Sheriff’s Office. The westbound interstate was closed between Exit 195 for Copper Mountain and Exit 180 for Vail, CDOT officials said, but had reopened as of 9:30 a.m.
