According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles won't part ways with Brown despite "internet speculation." NBC Sports' Matthew Berry reported on March 4 that the New England Patriots contacted Philadelphia to discuss Brown's availability, but Philadelphia's willingness to move him was unknown.

Hours prior to the arrest, the Philadelphia Eagles player took to IG to tell the thief, "It's gonna be what it's gonna be."
