Ubisoft says it's "deeply disturbed" by allegations of physical and emotional abuse at Brandoville Studios, a now-closed Indonesian art and animation office that's contributed to numerous AAA games including the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows.

The publisher says it is "deeply disturbed" by reports of alleged physical and mental abuse at the Indonesian studio it outsourced work to.

Ubisoft has responded to a damning report of mental and physical abuse at Indonesian support studio Brandoville.

The People Make Games channel on YouTube published a video outlining disturbing allegations of abuse within Indonesian studio Brandoville, which had most recently collaborated with Ubisoft on Assassin's Creed Shadows.

Reports of abuse at Brandoville Studios, which helped out on Assassin's Creed Shadows, has prompted a response from publisher Ubisoft.

Ubisoft has responded to a video report from YouTube channel People Make Games that claims mental and physical abuse has taken place at an Assassin's Creed Shadows support studio in Indonesia, named Brandoville.

The release date for “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” has once again been pushed back at Ubisoft. Shifting from Feb. 14 to March 20, the delay “will allow the team to better incorporate the player feedback gathered over the past three months and help create the best conditions for launch by continuing to engage closely with the increasingly positive ‘Assassin’s Creed’ community.
