German hockey player Tobias Eder who played on the national team at last year’s world championships has died at the age of 26 following treatment for cancer.

Thirteen field hockey players who hail from Pennsylvania were among the 37 players named to the 2025 U.S. Women’s National Team on Tuesday. The team includes 13 Olympians and six newcomers, including high school sensation Reese D’Ariano from West Chester, who attends Pa. Leadership Charter School.
