Ski Hut Trail The Ski Hut Trail starts at Manker Flats at the top of Mt. Baldy Road just under the ski lifts. The trail is roughly 8 miles round-trip with almost 4,000 feet of elevation gain.

While the trails in the closure area will be off limits until December 2025, Mount Baldy Ski Resort will remain open. The ski resort received a variance from the Forest Service to continue operating.
