Jalen Hurts is back for the Eagles — limited at practice, for now — and with all signs pointing toward their star quarterback set to start this weekend in an NFC wild-card playoff game. Hurts was a limited participant in practice Wednesday for the first time since he suffered a concussion in Week 16 and was expected to return for Sunday’s home game against the Green Bay Packers.

According to Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, Hurts is expected to practice on Wednesday. This is the first step toward the QB being ready for this weekend’s game against the Packers. On Tuesday the Eagles waived reserve quarterback Ian Book,

Hurts, who suffered a concussion against the Washington Commanders on Dec. 22, missed the Eagles' final two regular-season games while going through the NFL's concussion protocol.
