The Philadelphia Eagles might need a fourth offensive coordinator in four years. On Tuesday night, former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy decided to pull himself out of consideration, and Eagles OC Kellen Moore is at the top of the New Orleans Saints' head coaching search.

The Philadelphia Eagles are heading to their second Super Bowl in three seasons, and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore could be the next head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network said the Saints plan to interview Moore for the head coaching position on Monday.

New Orleans front office personnel flew to Philadelphia and landed at Philadelphia International Airport just prior to 7 p.m. Eastern Time. From there, the Saints are expected to proceed to a meeting with Kellen Moore about their open head coaching spot.

The New Orleans Saints interviewed Kellen Moore for the team's head coaching vacancy in Philadelphia on Monday night, the team confirmed Tuesday morning.

During this hiring cycle, Moore last week interviewed virtually for three jobs: Saints, Cowboys and Jaguars. Since then, the Jaguars hired former Buccaneers OC Liam Cohen and the Cowboys hired their own offensive coordinator Brian Shottenheimer. Because of Moore’s history in Dallas, he was thought to be a strong candidate for that job.
