The former Badger has three-plus years of high-level starting experience under his belt, highlighted by a breakthrough 2021 season as a redshirt freshman at Miami. He also, however, is coming off a torn ACL suffered in Wisconsin’s Week 3 loss to Alabama. That latter context has reportedly played a role in his transfer destination.

Wisconsin seeks to avoid that fate when it embarks on its first Big Ten West Coast road trip. The Badgers visit USC (11-6, 3-3 Big Ten) on Saturday and UCLA (11-6, 2-4 Big Ten) on Tuesday.
