The Atlanta Braves made a big-name signing at long last to address their outfield situation entering the new season.

The Braves also signed Bryan De La Cruz to a one-year deal Dec. 16 to add outfield depth but otherwise had a quiet offseason before the addition of Profar. Profar, a switch-hitter, will join Michael Harris, Jarred Kelenic, De La Cruz and Eli White as Atlanta's top outfielders. Acuña could be ready to join the team in May or June.

Free agent outfielder Jurickson Profar signed a three-year, $42 million contract with the Atlanta Braves on Thursday. The Braves outlined Profar will receive $12 million in 2025 and $15 million in 2026 and 2027.

The Braves made their first splash of the 2025 offseason, coming to an agreement on a free-agent contract with 2024 breakout Jurickson Profar, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. The club has not confirmed the move.
