The 2-1 ruling keeps in place a decision from a federal judge in Seattle who blocked President Trump’s order and decried what he described as an attempt to ignore the Constitution for political gain.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday issued another major blow to President Donald Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship, ruling that it’s unconstitutional and upholding a nationwide block against the controversial policy.

In their ruling, the panel of judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit wrote that they ‘fully agree’ with the decision of a lower-court, that blocked the order nationwide
