Due to icy road conditions, several schools are announcing closings, delays or remote learning for Monday, Jan. 13.

The remnants of last week’s winter storm are still causing icy conditions in the North Georgia mountains, prompting several of those school districts to close or go virtual. Habersham County Schools will be closed on Wednesday. Pickens County Schools will be on a 2-hour delay.

The Triad got most of its winter weather on Friday night and Saturday morning, but conditions on backroads around the area still have schools making alternate plans for Tuesday. Here are all the schools that are closed on Tuesday,
