Famed drag queen RuPaul, whose parents are from Louisiana, proved it on Wednesday when she posted her own parody of the Frankie & Johnnie Furniture commercial. The social media post garnered over half a million views and 122,000 likes on TikTok.

The claim spread in the form of an image that appeared to be a screenshot of an alleged Vanity Fair article with the headline: "Drag Race star Nicole Paige Brooks officially cast as Britney Spears in the upcoming biopic, 'The Woman In Me.'" Posts on Instagram, Facebook and X shared the screenshot.
