Max Domi scored at 3:09 of overtime as the Toronto Maple Leafs survived a blown 2-0 lead to defeat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 and go up 2-0 in their first-round playoff series Tuesday night.

The Toronto Maple Leafs headed into Game 2 of the Battle of Ontario with a convincing 6–2 win against the Ottawa Senators in Game 1. The Core Four had an outstanding night, scoring four goals and tallying six assists for 10 points.

The Maple Leafs and Senators got into multiple scraps late in Toronto’s 6-2 Game 1 home win Sunday night in the first round of the NHL playoffs. At the end of an ugly night in which Ottawa gave up three power-play goals, the Senators and Leafs started pushing and shoving each other after a whistle with 43.7 seconds left in the game.
