Santa Fe police say a man living on the streets chose a local Walmart as his home for the holidays — eating, drinking and unwrapping gifts in the form of unpaid merchandise long after employees went home.

If you’re looking to do some last-minute holiday shopping on Christmas Eve, time is limited. Walmart stores will open through 6 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve (Tuesday) before closing for Christmas.

Time is officially running out to shop for Christmas gifts in stores and online for pickup and same-day delivery. The big picture: Most stores and malls close early on Tuesday for Christmas Eve and most will stay closed on Christmas Day,
