The Houston Astros' clubhouse was energized Friday as players welcomed back Carlos Correa, then raved about his abilities with the bat and glove as well as with his leadership.

Carlos Correa is back with the Houston Astros, reuniting one of the franchise’s most iconic players with the city where he became a star. While Astros fans are more than familiar with Correa, the man behind the blockbuster trade hasn’t met him yet.

Correa will waive his no-trade clause and the Twins are sending the Astros $30 million of the $96 million guaranteed to Correa over the next three seasons. The Twins will get a prospect in return, left-handed pitcher Matt Mikulski.
