This British Open was never in doubt Sunday as golf’s No. 1 player delivered another dominant performance to win his second major this year and grab the third leg of the career Grand Slam.

A Haotong Li bogey coupled with a birdie for Scottie Scheffler at No. 4 has his lead up to 7 shots. It's an absolute runaway as Scheffler is already -2 on his round, while no one around him is making a run.

Scottie Scheffler took control of the 2025 Open Championship with a seven-under 64 on Friday. Scheffler owns a one-shot lead over Matt Fitzpatrick and a two-shot edge over Brian Harman and Haotong Li.
