Ohio State Remains No. 2 in the Second College Football Playoff Rankings of the 2024 Season Ohio State is still No. 2. On Tuesday, the CFP committee ranked Ohio State as the No. 2 team in America for the second consecutive week. Four more weeks remain until the committee sets the inaugural 12-team field.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee kept its spot in the top 10 in this week’s College Football Playoffs rankings following a win over Mississippi State. Tennessee was ranked No. 7, the same spot it was ranked last week. As it stands right now, Tennessee would host Notre Dame in the first round of the playoffs.
