The new terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport opens this month, with an updated image, intuitive wayfinding and a design that leads passengers toward a new security screening area and the gates beyond. Cleveland officials – who aim to open their own new terminal in 2032 – are watching closely.

As of its official opening date of Nov. 18, travelers will have a whole new experience at the $1.7 billion Findlay Township facility, including more parking spaces, increased convenience in baggage, ticketing and security and a dramatic upgrade in the look of the terminal.
