Marvel Rivals’ new season begins tomorrow, January 10, and there’s plenty to be excited about. Four new heroes are joining the roster, three maps are entering the rotation, and there’s a new battle pass of cosmetics.

Season 1 of Marvel Rivals approaches, and with it, more significant additions to the game at launch here. Rivals has been consistently putting up 300,000+ concurrent players a night on Steam, and is one of the top new games on consoles. Now, it’s gearing up to add a lot more content.

In the Dev Vision Volume Three, released on Jan. 7, the team behind heroe development revealed that Human Torch and The Thing will launch in Marvel Rivals “six to seven weeks after season one launches.” Given the season started on Jan. 10, that window of six to seven weeks lands in the second half of February.

Marvel Rivals is a free third-person hero shooter game in which users play Marvel superheroes or villains. The game was released in December.
