Las Vegas Metro Police unveiled their new drone operation center this week, marking a significant advancement in the department’s technology capabilities.
The U.S. Federal Communications Commission said on Wednesday it is exempting imports of some new models of foreign-made drones and critical components from a sweeping import ban adopted in December.
The drones will be deployed in response to calls, not regularly "up in the air watching people," an official said.
