Google's Pixel 9 series made its debut in August with a new design and updates. Alongside, the standard and a Pro Pixel model, Google also launched the Pixel 9 Pro XL which is the new smartphone in the series.

The Pixel 9 Pro is powered by the new Google Tensor G4 SoC, an upgrade from the Tensor G3 in the Pixel 8 series. It has 1x Cortex-X4 @ 3.1GHz; 3x Cortex-A720 @ 2.6GHz; and 4x Cortex-A520 @ 1.92GHz with Mali-G715 MP7 GPU and also has Titan M2 security chip. This still uses Samsung’s 4nm process tech.

The Pixel 9 Pro is a very well-rounded flagship. It offers excellent build quality, a great camera, decent battery life, and a host of AI features — that you honestly may or may not use. The bottomline is it offers pretty much everything that you’d expect out of a flagship device.

RW verdict: Boasting a secure fit, punchy sound and decent battery life, the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a fantastic pair of wireless earbuds for runners. However, their smaller, discreet design won't be for everyone and only Android users will benefit from their full suite of features.
