A passenger killed in a collision on Lady’s Island earlier this week has been identified as a 31-year-old local, according to the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office. Beaufort resident Hailee Shackelfurd was pronounced dead shortly after the crash around 12:45 p.m. Monday, Chief Deputy Coroner Shane Bowers wrote in a press release.
