(Reuters) -A Union Pacific Railroad train derailed two miles east of Gordon, Texas, on Tuesday, the company said, and emergency responders said the derailed cars did not appear to be leaking their contents. The emergency responders in Palo Pinto County said that, nonetheless, the derailment was "being treated as a HazMat situation."

Thirty-five cars of a Union Pacific train derailed Tuesday afternoon near a small Texas town, officials said. No injuries were reported and no evacuations have been ordered following the afternoon derailment,

The approximate 35 train cars were carrying hydrochloric acid, propane and fuel. The incident ignited grass fires, but no injuries were reported.
