OXFORD, Miss. (WVUE) — Tulane will make its first college football playoff appearance Saturday when the Green Wave faces Ole Miss as 17.5-point underdogs in Oxford. The game and official Tulane tailgate are sold out. Ole Miss defeated Tulane 45-10 during the regular season.

Tulane is located in New Orleans, La. It was founded in 1834 as Medical College of Louisiana, but became private under the endowments of Paul Tulane and Josephine Louise Newcomb in 1884 and 1887. It became known as Tulane University in 1884.

Tulane’s historic college football playoff run is driving millions in donations, NIL funding and business revenue across New Orleans.
