The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled approximately 634,000 mini fridges manufactured by Frigidaire. The recalled mini fridges hold six or nine cans and come in a variety of colors — including blue, green, white and black. The below models fall under the recall:

A major safety recall has just been announced on the Frigidaire Mini Fridges due to fire and burn risks. More than 600,000 of these mini fridges have been recalled. More than 26 incidents have taken place, causing over $700,000 in property damage. These mini fridges were sold nationwide from 2020 through 2023 at Walmart and Amazon.

A federal agency says it has received at least 26 reports of the minifridges smoking, sparking, burning, melting, overheating and catching fire.
