The Eagles moved up in the 2025 NFL draft and selected Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell, a South Jersey native, with the 31st overall pick.

The Philadelphia Eagles did make a first-round trade in the NFL Draft after all, trading up one spot to the Kansas City Chiefs and selecting Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell with the No. 31 overall pick.

Campbell was one of two Alabama first-round NFL draft picks along with guard Tyler Booker, who went No. 12 overall to the Dallas Cowboys. In three seasons with the Crimson Tide, Campbell had 184 career tackles, 16 tackles-for-loss and 5.5 sacks. He has two career interceptions, five pass deflections, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.
