The Sabres have the assets to entice Vancouver into a trade. The bigger question is what, exactly, Buffalo might have to give up.

Add another NHL team who, according to Frank Seravalli of dailyfaceoff.com, has called about forward Elias Pettersson of the Vancouver Canucks. The Utah club has been in and out of wild-card playoff contention for most of the season.

But with discussions for Miller not seemingly going well, it appears that teams are still calling about Pettersson.
