Inter Miami CF on Wednesday signed forward Luis Suárez to a new contract through the 2026 MLS season. Suárez joined Inter Miami in December 2023 on a one-year contract, before deciding to extend the deal through the 2025 MLS season. The extension, however, expired following the team's participation in MLS Cup on Dec. 6.
The legendary striker’s future had come into question in recent months, but after conquering Inter Miami’s maiden MLS Cup earlier in the month, the Herons released a statement announcing Suárez will continue to lead the line for Javier Mascherano’s men at least for another season.
